last night - and tonight - beer and very good, if not somewhat overpriced, rum.

pyrat xo reserve, specifically, a blend of aged rums produced by the makers of patron.

[IMG] still, bacardi 8 is about as good and less expensive (i think primarily due to the overly ornate packaging of pyrat)

last night i also had a bottle of winter welcome ale. tonight i've had a sam adams cranberry lambic (a little disappointing....its no lindeman's, thats for sure) and a sam adams black lager. tonight, more pyrat xo

The nastyness known as 211: Steel Reserve. Also some Mich Lager, which is also nasty. I hate beer, but I wanna get drunk.

tonight...not sure what i'm drinking. possibly get some wine, probably a single bottle of good beer (maybe samuel smith? maybe paulaner hefe or salvator) because i'm trying to cut way back on my consumption.....

then again i've been wanting to try a new recipe for a homemade liqueur, which takes quite some time to make (at least 1 1/2-2 months) and so i might get a bottle of gordons vodka to use for that and then have a few drinks of the excess spirit (would need about 3/4-4/5 of a bottle for the recipe...may also use brandy, or even make some spiced rum)

but probably, in all honesty, it will just be an undetermined bottle of good beer.
