the past few nights i've been drinking my new favorite liquor - sailor jerrys spiced navy rum, from the virgin islands

this stuff is the shit....i dont normally like spiced rum, but this stuff is good. and unlike captain morgans (which is only 35% ABV, and too syrupy to drink) this maintains a slight sweetness yet is somewhat stronger than the average american liquor at 46% ABV....i like it straight, but it also goes great in grapefruit juice, and i'd imagine it would be good in coke, too.

up till now the only spiced rum i liked was captain morgan's private stock (not the regular captain) but this stuff beats the pants off private stock while costing about 5 bucks LESS at $15/fifth

 

Weel I went out this morning and bought myself a nice bottle of southern comfort that within an hour-and-half is now about half empty.
it is so delicious and it strucks you quite nicely, I just need to concentrate more on typing.

 

well i am allllll out of booze. nothing to drink tonight, and very limited funds to get something (need to save gas money and also get some trashbags)

i'm thinking since i have V8, tobasco, and stuff, i might get stuff for bloody marys....all i'd need would be a pint of cheap vodka...sure it would taste better with absolut or grey goose or something, but a cheap off-brand will suffice in a pinch....all the other flavors in the drink should cover up the lower quality hooch.....

i've been wanting to try absolut peppar for mixing up with some tomato juice or v8 though...

or i could go with my heart and get more rum....a pint of bacardi select, perhaps....

but then again i have to go to the grocery for trash bags anyhow, and might as well just pick up some cheap beer or something....maybe stroh's or MGD....blegh.....maybe i'll just not get any drinks at all tonight....

 

ended up getting a fifth of gordons (only nine bucks....i honestly think its pretty good for the price) and made some bloody marys....pretty good drink, too! they never really sounded very good but i've discovered i really like them...

 

hell yea, bloody marys are great, especially for brunch

I'll probably have some whiskey tonight, cheap whiskey like Kesler, maybe some Jim Beam, and PBR

 

the first one i made was pretty bad....too much pepper and tobasco in it, and a little too much vodka, too! but i figured it out pretty quickly
