I don't think Stella counts as wife beater...It's a respectable drink that used to sponsor the Queen's tennis tournament...Surely you're talking Carslberg Special Brew...I don't have a wife by the way...Which is probably why I'm drinking at 10:30 in the morning....

I remember one of the first times I went to an English Pub I was drinking Stellas. Being from the States I wasn't used to getting full pints and I sort of underestimated how much I was drinking. I ended up so drunk I fell in a ditch walking home (if you want to call it walking). Not one of my finer moments.

 

Very recognizable, those drunk walks/bicycle rides home.. I haven't fell in a ditch for years now. I'm so proud :cheers2:

 

I say if the worst that has happened is a bloody knee and a hangover next day you have not drunk too much beer at all

 

I believe you on your word Happily (i guess) there is water in most ditches here. So I never stayed there and peed on myself
