Now that you're an old hippie, what are you doing? Working? What brings pleasure? Happiness? Problems? I'm retired. The main things I'm enjoying are traveling and going to small festivals, tripping now and then. I like hanging out with my wife, gardening, baking, that sort of thing. The main problems are a general decline - always some kind of health shit coming up for one of us. :sunny:
Now, it's writing, enjoy the grandkids and the family in general, reflect on what we've learned and continue learning, continue exploring the possibilities. The physical decline is a drag, it's true, so we have to live with it and maybe the new limitations will lead to more imagination and creativity. I find I listen to music more than ever and that it still is powerful.
Not quite an Old hippie yet. I love gardening, learning about ethnobotany, reading. I am turning my suburban garden into a miniature food forest. I plant to buy the biggest plot of land I can afford (after my daughter finishes highschool) and start a kind of commune.
