It is sad how often they get struck by a boat.

I can't imagine how bad I'd feel knowing I struck a manatee with my boat. Of course, crashing into any solid object in a motorboat is very scary and fucks up your boat pretty bad. I've struck a shallow rock with a propeller once. The sound was awful and very scary.

Thankfully there are no freshwater manatees in my favorite lake to go boating.

 

I tried.

I was so bad I deserved an F in class, but Mr McKay gave me a "D- because I at least showed up everyday and was on time".

Damn Gali pug crossed in front of me the other day at a pretty quick fast pace that we were going and tripped me onto the cement.....knees first ...then flat on my face on my nose......I never got hit in the nose before and thought it was broken...I saw stars and thought I lost my nose....It was the most excruciating pain I ever experienced for about 20 minutes.........and I was in tears..........someone stopped and told me they would go get Stan who was in the parking lot waiting for me to come back to change dogs......so i sat there on the side of the road in tears until Stan came along in a fury hurry to help me up and take me home......Thank goodness my nose is not broken...but my knees are pretty banged up, skinned and sore still.....I was so angry at Gali for the rest of the night and ignored him. I gave the other pugs good night hugs that night but not him.

I was back out there there next day, though. I don't let anything stop me.....

Now, I know why they say hit anything that comes at you in the nose with all of your might....My nose is black and blue and a little scraped up and sore to the touch still....but it will be fine.....

Yeah, he did, but I think he is pretty stupid really. It might be the lack of oxygen he had at birth in the birth sack.....as the other pugs do seem smarter...I never realized that before now..........and he did not understand anything.....or why he was being ignored..........so the next day, I did pet him and told him it was ok........He did look so lost........but that night, I could not even walk that well.....and I was in a lot of pain.....so I was angry about it....lol

 

Oh I get it. lol I have cats, and the one is just a little menace. He pee'd on my favorite bag of popcorn last night!!! I thought I was going to lose it.

 

I have been eating a lot of Vita Herring in wine sauce lately......I scrape the onions off, though. The herring seems to agree with me .

I wish I had some filet of sole or something like that right now.

Had a small vanilla milk shake early today, and that is all...I have also been drinking a lot of Paul Newman's lemonade. My new favorite thing to drink.

 

and we are supposed to have a wintry mix of rain and snow again on Monday. Are you kidding me????!!!! NO!

 

I'm trying to motivate myself to go make an Easter basket for my little neice this weekend....3, soon to be 4, going on 25....lol....I am doing Alice in Wonderland theme for her with the rabbit......she gets Lalaloopsy Alice and her rabbit, Alice in Wonderland dress for herself and an Alice in Wonderland book.....

 

Maybe this will motivate me....lol
