work is done...i just got back with some fish and chips

they were kind of cheap with the fish today but at least its not for profit ..

 

a few days ago im at the grocery place and the young guy behind me has a banana and a pint of strawberries..looks like he probably works there and was buying a healthy lunch

cashier says "you know thats not a banana right?...plantains need to be cooked"....the guy has no idea what she's talking about

 

Not much my complete focus this weekend is on Super Bowl LII, Today I’ll pretend to do work around the place but all along just biding my time until Sunday.

 

My idea of the "big game" on Sunday is the Celtics and Blazers. Breakfast, mimosas, and Sunday morning hoops!

 

After Sunday and hopefully the Duck Boat Parade through the streets on Boston on Tuesday,
My complete focus will turn to the Celtics and the Red Sox training camp at Fort Myers, Fla.

Until then it's all Patriots

 

No love for the B's?

 

I know they're currently the hottest team in the NHL but they won't peak my interest unless they go deep into the playoffs

 

Went to my daughters band performance last night, and they sounded pretty good. She auditions for all county today, hope she gets selected.

 

Hope it goes well for her! Me? Toying with the idea of going out to the garage for potatoes. Putting it off because the fucking snow is on again.

Can't wait until the football season is over this year. I sort of wish that New England didn't have such a good team and well known QB so that I wouldn't have to hear about the Pats all of the time. Boo. Oh well, I guess it's nice to have an event that makes people happy and brings them together; it's a respite from all of the other divisive political crap that's going on.

 

Except this year you have to hear people bitching about the stand or kneel controversy lol. America has found a way to even make football divisive

I'm so ready for football to be over, I'm always so tired of it by the time the super bowl rolls around

 

I'm making a resolution for the rest of February not to drink Alcohol, other drugs are OK though. I got access to work on our app at work and going to attempt getting into Computer Programming pretty hard this month, so pretty much don't want anything that will dull my mind. But thankfully February is a short month
