I have been asking for the use of medical marijuana....and my general doctor does not prescribe it, but knows 3 who do, and said she will help me..One is a husband to my general doctor who left there, and so I have the new one since last year there now and my last general doctor asked me if I need anything last time I saw her before she left and went into private practice...and she was so vague...i did not know what she was talking about and just said ...."no...".....I told my new doctor that and she said she could tell me stories about that, but she wouldn't.....so i went to the husband , who is also a doctor and tried to get an appointment to see him, as i just walked into where he practices......and asked....and have been blown off. it seems... and then was told that my general doctor needs to make a recommendation....which we told her to do....so I guess I need to find out the other two doctors she knows....if this doesn't work...as everyone with a back ache seems to be able to get prescribed it...but me...seems impossible...
You have no idea how angry and frustrated I am by this bull shit here in New York.... I don't drive.....no one's life is at risk with me. I go into my own world even more....and mind my own business...and it makes me hungry. Jeesus crist..like I am asking for cocaine or something.... I know what would help me.and I know what i need...so tell me ...some expert who is not me...that you know better than me what would help....
Thanks....I appreciate the kind words...but you would be all right..plenty of others around here for you.
Dang Moonie! I don't come here to the forums as much as I used to...but you have got to eat!!! There just has to be a doctor that would prescribe cannabis for you, and of course I'm talking about some edibles. The edibles give you the munchies, or they would at least make you hungry enough to eat more than your usual little teeny bit. We are all worried about you! Plus I have a Bullet, and they really are good. I think you would like it...you can make a shake or slushy out of anything!
Lynn, I wrote a few pages back...quite a few pages now, I am sure...I got one of those bullet things and was drinking kale...and I made a fruit one, too, at the time.... I got some Nu Go bars now, too...as the metabolic doctor had those at the front desk..I never tried those nutribars before. but had two of them yesterday...Just found a box of 12 online for much cheaper....$18.00 for a box and free shipping....I want to eat one of those per day.... I am getting 2 boxes of the raspberry truffle and 1 box of the chocolate mint....18 grams of protein ...180 calories per bar. .
My rant for the day....and I am noticing it more with the doll collectors these days...Never paid much attention before... i just always bought what appealed to me the most regardless of what anyone else liked or likes the best.... but....oh, that is the one someone deemed as the one worth getting the most money...as one person started a precadant and everyone followed....like ants... and they let others do their thinking for them...i want a particular doll...as i like it and did before knowing anything about that one.....and bid.so that is the one everyone is bidding on now...i go to read about it...and is the most valuable, come to find out...never mind the other...the dolls who are just as cute. I wanted this one because it is Irish....not any of the other nationalities, and I am part irish, so i liked it...Would have bid on a Finnish one or Scottish one, too, for the same reason...but she was not made in scottish or Finnish....Do they want it because it is the most valuable according to what everyone else said and started...or do they want it, because they like it for themselves? and that is the first one I liked that is the most popular, come to find..due to its value...and i don't buy it for that reason ever...as I am not a dealer...although, I do sell things, too,,to make money when I want to buy something else, usually for a big loss at what i bought it for....but I take the hit...I figure...ok, I rented something for however long....grew away from that one...don't appreciate it anymore or whatever my reason may be at the time... and that is just one example of follow the crowd mentality. i really think it is not because they like it for themselves. There is a different mentality at play for that reason, which I don't see very often.
and now quite frankly..I am getting tired of the whole shit and caboodle, and don't even want the doll anymore..
Putting rocks along the edge of our pond for erosion control. Pond Work 4 by Terry B posted Aug 5, 2018 at 8:37 PM Pond Work 2 by Terry B posted Aug 5, 2018[GALLERY=media, 201257]Pond Work 3 by Terry B posted Aug 5, 2018 at 8:37 PM at 8:37 PM[/GALLERY]
@Terry B thanks for adding the pics in there. I tried to see them also and couldn't. Your rocks and pond look very inviting!
The pond is getting better. We raised the level 1.5 inches, added rocks to the eastern end to keep the small waves from tearing up the shore, planted Apple trees for the deer, planted wild flowers and diversified the fish. The amount of butterflies, bees and other insect life have increased exponentially. We have deer, turkeys and water fowl hanging around with their little ones. The pond is a fun place for all. We are going to add a gravel/sand beach for the dogs to swim. Only thing we chase away is the river otters. They are a bit tough on the fish.
I love ponds. We used to have one, 14 feet deep at the center. We had large mouth bass, sunnies, bluegills, geese, ducks, and snapping turtles. So what I'm doing now is missing it.
Ours is 15 feet in the middle. Same mix of fish. Pond 1 by Terry B posted Aug 6, 2018 at 1:40 PM Pond 2 by Terry B posted Aug 6, 2018 at 1:40 PM
Very nice. We used to put dye in in the spring for algae. Have any problem with that? One summer we bought a large floating air raft from Sam's Club to use as a swimming platform. It lasted a few days until the snapping turtles chewed holes in it. I had to use our backhoe to pull it out of the water. Something like this. Unfortunately the chicks didn't come with it.
No. We are dealing with string algae. It is a pain. It has to be removed by hand. One nice thing adding catfish and grass carp has helped disturb the roots. It is now floating to the top. Our pond is water in water out. A creek feed the pond.
