Coworkers always become more endearing after the notice is turned in lol

Case in point, a coworker of mine has spent the last year talking my ear off about reality tv and drama in her church, as if I know or care about any of those people. She drives me crazy and I put in headphones a lot so she wont talk to me

But i realized today i'll miss her a little. She's sweet

 

Yea, it’s weird how I’ll miss some people but what I won’t miss are the things that matter most, like how our team is managed and how dysfunctional it is because of that. I just can’t accept it anymore and while I know no employer is perfect, I can’t accept negativity and dysfunction on a daily basis.

 

I’m in marketing/advertising too. Interesting to see how it works in other countries

I think that is the best way to be ...just keep yor mind on your own work..I like that...

So far so good here. The oatmeal was great last night and I was able to eat the whole bowl without any problems...First time in a long time for that...Scottish steal cut oats. I am thinking about making some more right now...lol

I am not getting my hopes up too high yet, though....but so far, I feel good and am encouraged...better than I have felt in along time.

Damn, I was really in la la land yesterday...Reading back over posts...64 ounces of water...so 40...or 5 8 oz glasses the first half...and then 3 more for 24 ounces the second half...No, my head is not a computer brain like that anyway...but geeeez...

Anyway...if you ever have to drink a lot of water for anything...drinking it warm goes down so much easier than cold water. That is how I got all that down.

 

Hers was actually a large mass they couldnt remove during a colonoscopy so she had to have it surgically removed and then get a temporary ileostomy bag so her colon could heal...which carries its own risks, she had to be readmitted back to the hospital once for a blockage and its really hard for her to gain any weight right now. But the ileostomy will be reversed in a month or so and she should be fine after that

I don't have the luxury of having a live model right now. So I'm using photographs found online.

I once had an art professor who made us take a vow by not drawing photographs. While I understand that it's better to draw something right in front of you, we are not always offered that luxury. So it seems to me like his beliefs come from high up in an ivory tower.

 

have to go for safety inspection and it actually makes me feel sick knowing ill have to pay a garage

i prefer doing all my own work but i dont have a shop that is licensed for processing inspections

 

I went to the metabolic doctor today again, and right away he saw I was thinner and not doing too good.

Yes, I was ok for a day or two after the colonoscopy, but then I did not want to eat much...Had to force one of those thick shakes down almost every day...and missed a day or two there. I did not care....Buried my nose into other things and kept going that way.

My muscle mass is lower now than when I first went to this doctor and my weight the lowest it has been...even though one night I did stuff myself with seaweed salad and salmon at the Chinese place we go to.....

I told him I did not like those shakes, and if I forced myself to drink one, I did not want anything else all day...and he got mad and told me..."I don't care if you like them or not...try one scoop in 4 ounces of water every 2 hours or so..as it is a fight now to get back...or else you will wind up in the hospital with a feeding tube"...and he was really mad at the doctors I see...

"What is wrong with those people?! You don't force someone to go through a colonoscopy with all of that prepping..as it completely depletes you...People who are a healthy weight have something in reserve...i do not as I have been fighting to rebulid my system! What is wrong with them???!! I know they want to find out everything...but you don't do that!!!!"

So I have to try here and do as he says again...and come back again...as lately, i really have not cared much....but he kicked the crap out of me to knock some sense into me and explained everything to me in clear sense.

 

I'm seriously, right now really concerned about you Moons. Losing this weight is not good. Not good at all. I don't want to frighten you at all, but im really concerned. I'm concerned about your mental functions and organs not working properly. I'm concerned about you making cognitive decisions.

Has your doctor spoke to you about getting the Rx Megestrol acetate?

It's sold under the brand name Megace among others, is a progestin medication which is used mainly as an appetite stimulant. My wife took 15ml every morning and she added a few pounds by her wanting to eat more. I was able to cook for her again and tearfully watch her gain weight.

 

Actually, my cognitive functions are better than they ever have been, but thank you for worrying.

I will mention that stuff to my doctor next time I see him, that you mentioned, but he knows what he is doing. He is trying to fix my digestive system, which is the only thing broken on me right now.
