That NoHobo guy knew more about PR than was comfortable.

 

I missed that. Is he still around? What happened?

 

He started asking PR about some really personal stuff. Stuff he would only know about if he had cyber stalked PR by using his real name. It was creepy.

He pops up from time to time still, but I think most people stay away from him

 

Not saying what he did was ok
I'd be freaked out too
But it's not like he hacked or whatever
He just remembered PR's info and looked him up

 

I didn't know he ever shared that stuff. From the outside looking in, it appeared it was something a bit more nefarious.

 

Aside from directly hacking the HF site, or just picking up on clues in posts, in principle there's other ways you could do it.

 

PR shared a lot of info over the years, including his youtube account and whatnot.
I am sure people knew his last name.
Dude could stand to be more careful.
I agree, it seemed very creepy...I suppose NH could have handled it better - like make his identity known to PR, and not just confront him like that out of the blue. Or handle it privately.
But you know...had to make an impact, I guess lol.

Still...not really ok to freak someone out like that, and ask them such personal stuff.
No matter how harmless NH actually is.

Just joined some friends for a long hike. They went foraging for food and mushrooms, I just enjoyed the learning experience.
