This beautiful fall weather makes me want to make a stew. I like to do it in the crock pot.
Cooking is not one of my favourite things, but one has to do it, or go hungry.

 

Go ahead and do so, only thing stopping you is your idleness !!!

Now how would you know if I am idle or not sweetheart? Have you got me pegged already? I make a great stew recipe from a magazine. It has big delicious farmer's sausage in it. I must dig that recipe out. Everyone loves my stew. How do you make yours Vladimir?

My stew I use beef and then add Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips, Swede, Celeriac, Lentils, Black Pudding, and Chorizo. My cooking pot (my cauldron) is large enough to take 2 Litres of liquid (as well as the other ingredients) and I use Oxo Cubes and Bisto Powder to make the gravy. When the stew begins to simmer, I make Suet Dumplings with Self-Raising Flour, Suet and a little salt.
