They can be harsh! I remember when I was 18 my best mate bought me a proper cuban and after smoking only about a third of it I felt smashed...like I'd just downed five pints!

 

Yep, I think they can do that.

 

Many, many years ago, Candy darlin' - I went from cigarettes to a pipe - used to smoke Sobranie mixture - very aromatic and then when that became too expensive I swopped onto 'clan' - that too was very aromatic !!!

 

I am having the pain of my arm.

I would have loved to have seen them.
The music I am listening to was when he recorded for Capitol Records when he was in his prime.
Unfortunately like a lot of entertainers he went on singing for far too long, when his voice and memory of the songs were fading a bit.

Sad that for me.

 

Yea he was a great one saw jerry lewis in dam yankees even at his age he still performed like a star!

 

I think he was great when he was with another of my favourite singers Dean Martin.
I never saw him much after that, except on a chat show or two, but I remember he was really bitter over the fact that Dean Martin wanted to go his own way as a singer.
For the best it was as far as I am concened.

Right now I am not long up at 9.40AM right now, and just have me cup of coffee on me right hand side as I tap away at my IMac computer conversing with my lovely friends here.

Lazy sod !!! - some of us get up in the morning !!! - Had my morning coffee (with a tot of Brandy) and my breakfast more than three hours ago !!!

 

Ahhhhh Yes Vlad, but I didn't and don't get to bed until 3.30AM (usually 2.30AM to 3.30AM) as I just enjoy chilling out in total peace and quiet as my Wifey usually goes to bed around 11.30PM, so then it is me time!
This with a coupla beers and reading the papers online on my 12.9" IPad Plus and Readly for all my magazines or perhaps look on You Tube for all sorts of stuff.
I actually got up at 8.30AM but by the time I have my shower and sort out a few bits the morning gets on a bit.
I think you know that I lead a VERY busy life.
Lockdown or no Lockdown!

Right now once I have finished a look on here we are off along the Coast and Promenade for a six mile walk which is so relaxing and exercising, particularly now with so few people about here in beautiful Rhos On Sea North Wales.

 

I am drinking tea and posting.

I shall go out soon.

 

Just posting and watching the news.
