Meeting family for dinner at four this afternoon to celebrate turning forty (birthday's on Thursday). I think the place we're going (Wood Ranch) is a little on the pricey side, but only by about $3; I'm so cheap! I suggested changing restaurants to my dad but he said no that's not necessary.

It isn't as though anyone who'd be attending has any problem whatsoever spending $25. It's just that I think that's sort of pricey and unnecessary. But off we go... My meal will cost less because I'm eating something plant-based; I already know what I'm ordering...

i mean just for a couple of hours or so.
"the house" is a term i use generically for where i live.
(short for "my lawful residence", whatever physical, economic and social form that might happen to take)
this last is for clarity, lest anyone assume i live in an actual detached unit, or that i own or otherwise posses one.

i'd like to be surrounded on equally all sides, by a garden surrounded by a forest, with no fences anywhere, and the only pavement being a place to walk to the nearest tram stop.
