Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, 5/5.

Now my favorite book of all time, just an incredible work. As a Black man growing up and trying to figure out my place in the world and how to make sense of it all, it was like my grandfather sitting me down and telling me about the world. Just loved it.

 

I bought 4 books a few weeks ago. Kinda reading them all at one time

Missoula by Jon Krakauer
Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo
The Basil and Josephine Stories by my man F. Scott Fitzgerald (this one is really cute)
And Night by Elie Wiesel

 

Did you read "Into Thin Air" by Krakauer?

 

Just finished The Testaments by Margaret Atwoo, and am now onto The Opioid Indiana - am enjoyin this book quite well.

 

Yes! And felt totally different about Mt. Everest afterwards

I've also read Into the Wild and Under the Banner of Heaven

I am reading this book and can't wait till the movie comes out.
