Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, 5/5. Now my favorite book of all time, just an incredible work. As a Black man growing up and trying to figure out my place in the world and how to make sense of it all, it was like my grandfather sitting me down and telling me about the world. Just loved it.
I bought 4 books a few weeks ago. Kinda reading them all at one time Missoula by Jon Krakauer Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo The Basil and Josephine Stories by my man F. Scott Fitzgerald (this one is really cute) And Night by Elie Wiesel
Just finished The Testaments by Margaret Atwoo, and am now onto The Opioid Indiana - am enjoyin this book quite well.
Yes! And felt totally different about Mt. Everest afterwards I've also read Into the Wild and Under the Banner of Heaven
I am reading this book and can't wait till the movie comes out. Renee Lane’s book, Finding Love Through Female Domination, is the 21st century "Venus in Furs" but as told from Wanda's perspective. Ms. Lane is a renegade, an outlaw, so this book isn't for the rulebook waving scolds who endlessly chant “Safe-Sane-Consensual”; but it deserves to be read. She is all over the boundary lines, and that's what makes it a fun read. Now, it’s being made into a movie! Viola Voltairine, a sister dome moviemaker, has bought the rights. You’ll definitely want to keep up with this. Maybe there is a part for you? Maybe you can help? Check your spam folder if you don’t see Ms Viola's confirmation email. This movie and her posts are full of the kink we love so she’s careful to only send it to people who confirm that they really want to hear from her. Go to http://lovethroughfemaledomination.com
