I definitely Agree. The Fraseer series....actually much more than a trilogy ........is my favorite fantasy. It has spoiled me. But I want it to continue with Bee.
After Farseer Trilogy.. the story continues, did you know? I ask because I've talked to people who missed out the ones that didn't revolve around Fitz.. but they're missing whole parts of the story! When I got to the sixteenth(I think?) book I got really nervous she wouldn't be able to pull it off.. how do you wrap it all up for good without it being a let down? And she did it. Wow. Yup, sixteen. Four trilogies and the four Rain Wild Chronicles.
I lost track apparently But yes, I read the following 2 trilogies as well (Living ships and Tawny man). Last one dragged a bit on in my experience. But still fun for Fitz/Farseer trilogy fans I recall I didn't start a next one soon after the Farseer trilogy and it has a great ending by itself. The next one didn't really appeal to me at first instance. Living ships and all. But yeah, loved it once i actually started. Never noticed a 4th continuation! But I did read the Soldiers Son trilogy, which is entertaining but doesn't come near the Farseer trilogy imo. Yups, love that first trilogy
I think the final book was published last year... I only learned about them at the beginning of this one : ) Rain Wild Chronicles dragged a bit too. I think the final trilogy picked up again... with the creation of a certain character. The ending was definitely worth it. But I agree, the first trilogy was special.
The biography of Shinsuke Nakamura "King of Strong Style" He's a pro wrestler and MMA fighter. I have been a fan of him for many years.
Yah I finished it a couple weeks ago. I liked it WAAYY Better than the movie. There were still a couple cornball parts, which perhaps reminded me of why I didn't enjoy the movie but overall the brilliant parts were like 10 fold that of the movie. I felt like the movie attempted to get it's laughs primarily by being overly zany. The book made me laugh more from recognizing the folly in a lot of our notions of culture, etiquette, and society in general by trivializing these things in the absurd scope of the galaxy.
Bought a book today titled ''Divine Direction.'' It's a spiritual/Christian book that discusses 7 main decisions that will change one's life.
I haven't been feeling very remarquey. I think I'll start something else. I hate leaving anything unfinished, but I already read it before, so let's say it doesn't count. Off to the library I go.
Sapiens (and some kind of subtitle about a brief history of our species) I am fascinated, and the writer has convinced me that the agricultural revolution was not a good thing for us.
You should know that it's mutual, and I am often in awe of you as well. I really appreciated your comment. You seem like an intellectually curious person with a wide array of interests, and I like that.
A few years back i read an article in national geographic that touched on this... how the agricultural revolution is what created this sort of unnatural lifestyle and routine humans... um... have?
