I enjoyed it, but I can't see myself ever giving it a second read. There isn't that much subtlety to miss, and it wasn't that amazingly written. It seems that I enjoyed the book mostly because of the tension of not knowing where it was going, and of the underlying symbolism and ideas presented.

    Hello,

just started Among the Bohemians written by Virginia Nicholson. I skimmed over the pictures and drawings in the book. It promises to be an interesting read.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn

Sawyer was enjoyable but tedious at times; Huckleberry Finn is amazing and I can't wait to finish.

I like to read many books at once, so that I can read a chapter at a time and "channel-surf". Current reading list:

    GANDHI SELF-STUDY COURSE
"The Story of My Experiments with Truth" by Gandhi
    "The Penguin Gandhi Reader,"
    "The Bhagavad-Gita According to Gandhi"
and "In The Footsteps of Gandhi: Conversations with Spiritual Social Activists"

    In addition:
"The Monkey Wrench Gang" by Edward Abbey
"Naked Lunch" by William S Burroughs
"Song of Protest" by Pablo Neruda
"Language and Politics," collected interviews of Noam Chomsky
