"A" Friend. "A friend - to cuddle, a friend to hold, A friend to tell me, to be bold, A friend to cheer me up and care, A friend, who will, for me, - be there" - Don't we all?
Well,I admit a spot of feminine company would be a treasure-but as meeting a woman of the female variety who doesn't have ulterior motives is extremely unlikely,I'll settle for my new [to me] Burns 12-string,as the reverb & delay are truly a joy to power up-plus,when a 'wah-wah' pedal [ask m'main man Orison] is integrated into the system,it truly is a BLOODY good guitar, nimble and light on the action, yet very powerful in sub-tones and is totally sans 'buzz'. A genuine original 12-string Burns 1972...and it cost me precisely one 2nd-hand Macbook Pro,1tb,that,tbh,was very rarely even opened, let alone actually used. I have circa [I think] eight laptops, plus several mobiles...and none of the buggers are as capable of laying down a bit of '70s Quo as my battered old Fenders. ...although,just once in a while, one can become a tad wistful, when others joyfully parade their happiness-but t'would seem one was born to be alone...sigh...
a new little refrigerator would be nice. or a two way teleportation device that would lead to either a forest or a town with a good computer store and a good train store. a student body card that would grant me legitimate access to a university science and engineering library.
the ability to teleport, so i could live in a shack out in the woods and not have to have a car to get groceries. far enough out in the woods no one could drive close enough to it to not have to walk for at least a day or two or longer.
