I think the rhythm method would be the only natural birth control method. If the woman has a regular consistent monthly ovulation cycle, and she is aware of those cycle days, it is an extremely effective method of birth control. This assumes that you exercise self control during the 5 day window of peak ovulation. Combine with early withdrawal during the days around actual ovulation for added pregnancy avoidance.
In antiquity the Egyptians used Lemon Rinds as the first diaphragm. The Mexican women use the herb Rue to induce a period (natural abortion) after sex - brings the period down no matter what. Take too much though and it can cause liver failure. The Hawaiian women use Young unripened Baby Pineapple to induce a period (natural abortion) after sex - brings the period down no matter what. Take too much though and it can cause liver failure. Pure Vitamin C without Rose Hips in high quantities like 50,000MG (like what they give cancer patients) will make the body too acidic for the egg to latch to. These are just a few I've heard of.
Does anyone here actually know anyone thats used any natural birth control methods? I'm wanting to try these but not sure whats reliable? Any reliable teas to use outside of ovulation that won't disrupt my cycle?
6 Best Natural Birth Control Methods | U.S. News (usnews.com) At first glance, what this recommends doesn't sound promising...
I've done the pull-out method; otherwise, if the woman was on birth control, it was the conventional kind. Pulling out requires impeccable timing but the mistake I've seen being made is the guy pulling out on time and... he goes back in, not thinking that he still has semen "in the pipeline" and the woman can still get pregnant. Or they don't know that a man's "pre-cum" can contain live sperm so, in that case, he could knock her up before he has to pull out. Probably better to use the tried-and-true methods or don't have vaginal intercourse. Liver failure doesn't seem to be worth it using "natural" stuff... Oral and anal sex are an option but I would point out that there's like an inch of skin between the vagina and anus so any semen that might leak out could find its way in the vagina and via plain old gravity. Growing up - and before girls were made to get on the pill - they'd want to have sex but either anally or orally to (a) preserve their hymen or (b) make sure they didn't get pregnant; I thought it was better than trying to pull out and... ya didn't make it out.
Sounds like its just best to find someone who is snipped or only use the pull out method during non ovulating days...
Yeah, that's probably your best best; some women use spermicides that are applied vaginally and before intercourse; whether they work or not is unknown to me - I just know they don't taste good when eating pussy
When my wife and I were in agreement that we should get married, we used the pull out method initially. One accident lead us to using condoms. After we married we just had vaginal sex with no condom and nothing happened. Later Medical evaluations revealed that both of us were unlikely to conceive. If I knew that, my dating years would have been entirely different. In a humerus note another method involved an aspirin tablet pressed firmly between the ladies Knees.
My wife and I used natural birth control after our second child was born. She had bad reactions from birth control pills so we decided to try it. We loved it! It worked for five years and we decided to have another child. She conceived with no difficulty. Natural birth control takes some work but it's worth it. We created charts of her cycles and figured out her fertility days based on calendar, basal temperature and mucous. The calendar gave us approximate dates for her to be fertile. She would take her basal temperature before getting up measuring the temperature under her armpit. The mucous was fun to check. We would regularly check it until her fertility period stopped. The days that she was fertile, her mucous was amazingly abundant and slick. I enjoyed checking her some mornings. The first time we had to use "abstinence" was a disappointment for me in some ways. Her body's pheromones and her slick juices were highly tempting. I thought about putting on a condom but decided it was time to be creative. We quickly learned alternate ways to bring each other to orgasms, some more powerful than our normal sex. After our third child was born, I had a vasectomy so we no longer needed birth control but our lovemaking had changed. About a third of the time we would have wonderful lovemaking without fucking.
