Because there are castles made of sand in the sky! That sounds like a great sandwich, maybe add a little chipolte something to it... and 70 pounds of raw beef. Ahh, now I feel like eating a carpaccio!
old is definitely what you make it, my brother's freaking old but he's only 21 my dad i call him old man but he acts like a child tantrums and everything my family teases my grandmother for being "ancient" we're all old, and at the same time young time is a universal thing
Ya know... ever since I remember I have always felt like an old man... In the last 2 years, I am starting to feel younger and younger, it's a wonderful feeling.
When I was a teen I thought 40 was old (and I never thought I was going to make it to that age) but now at this point in my life I know age is all in the mind...
When I was a kid, I thought that 30+ was old. Now I'm 37, and I don't feel old at all, or even look old for that matter. Physical age is just a timer, a stop watch, for our bodies when we're alive. One day I will probably look in the mirror and think to myself, "I'm old." I haven't figured out what age I will be then. I'm hoping I'll be ready to say it when it comes.
No change in me since the mid-70s - certainly in the way I live my life. Wrinkles? Yes, but they show where the smiles have been. Wisdom - accumulated. Essence - unchanged. Age is a number.
I'd say physically, old seems to set in around 50-55. Culturally though, I think old is 40ish. It's wierd to think about.
Someone said that a person is old when the memories are more than the ambitions...And i do agree with this phrase!
 For me, it all depends on the lovin'. If you're still gettin' your freak on at 102...you're not old. If your 30, and watchin' the latest installment of "Survivor" and your main squeeze is snorin' in the chair beside you, like every night.........man, you're old.
I just cannot get enough of watching the smilies smooching on the top up there. They make me feel like loving someone up like that right now. I am still getting my "freak-on at 54", and I am watching "Survivor" (I love it) with my main squeeze in the chair beside me, "like every night", (not snoring), and feeling very young and totally alive.
Right on, right on. I meant if the survivor was the only excitement your gettin in life, lol. I love the smooching smilies too, they're just too much fun!
