must be tough living in a state where they close down cities when you get an inch or two of snow... that's called a dusting.. honestly.. a couple years back we got 32" of snow.. and everyone still had to be to work that i knew.. school was canceled obviously

 

back to accents... a couple asked me where i was from when i was on vacation(northern minnesota) and I told them south eastern minnesota.. and they go "you don't sound minnesotan".. "lived here my whole life.. dunno what to tell ya"

 

hahah what the fuck.. when they speak english there is no difference.. unless theyre anglophone..(speak english primarily)

scottish is the best accent... they the only buggers that speak english at a reasonable speed

 

That's because Scots are the best! I wish I didn't lose my accent so much I'm now a mix between Scottish and 'posh' English.

I live in South Africa. I can't stand it. It's like taking an English accent and scratching it on some vinyl.

 

I love southern accents .Of course I am biased because I am from Kentucky but I love that slow drawl .
