Most women who knows what's going on in the world will inform you of the pressures we face...on an everyday basis.
and what if you were just self confident, thinking, this is me and I'm fine with that, how would your life be any different? The media and certain people may stress a certain asthetic, but to give it any credibility at all is your own doing Its just like me saying "I don't look like a burly lumberjack or a football player, so I don't feel good about myself" we don't need to be whiny victims of societal pressure, thats just giving in and not thinking for yourself, which i don't really respect so if a guy wants to put on facial creme, more power to him
well Annie, hopefully someday you will be able to realize this is our life, this is all we have, and any trivial ideas of beauty professed in commercials and magazines is rather trivial, being the most "you" as you possibly can be is the best thing you can do, fuck everything else Just don't move to Southern California
Look, if your aging skin begins to feel dry & uncomfortable, I see nothing wrong with anyone, man or whatever using a little moisturizer. Ya know?! Exfoliating is helpful too. Although, I understand that is a lot for some folks.
I do realize this is our life...that's why I bring it up. It's not right and yet as soon as something like this comes out for men, it's almost a big shock...when shit like this has been out for women for YEARS and no one has said a word. You couldn't pay me enough to move to SoCal, either.
I still don't understand whats wrong with having a product that helps keep your skin from aging? i could understand if we were talking about botox and plastic surgery but we aren't If anything, yank and burn is as much to blame for these stereotypes as the media or anyone else, his idea is that its not ok for a man to put this stuff on without being ridculed. I believe in freedom to choose, and i see absolutely nothing wrong, comical, or worthy of making fun of here. Men and women are both subliminaly taught what they are supposed to be, but we've just got to get over it, or succumb to it. Long live the individual
Why can't men just use the same facial firming stuff women do? Personally I'm looking forward to wrinkles.
trying to stay young? nah, its not for me. easy to say at 21, but still, i almost look forward to going silver.... i try to keep myself presentably groomed and definitely clean and all. and though i'm vain i'm not going to try to hide my age, ever..... i think older people are great most of the time. they should be respected, and for many people (men and women) age just makes them look more worldly, suave and sophisticated....
High in proteins? See soccer mom over the weekend? She was wasteddddddddd. Seemed to have a peter belly...
I know you would, and that's why I like you. You just want love, that's all. Well of course you want other stuff too, but deep down, you want the love. {{{Hugs}}}
