sooo I get a call from this guy And he hires me for a part time, $8.50/hour gig doing food packaging (production line type stuff), without ever having seen my resume. I called him last week, said I was friends with one of his employees who had mentioned he was probably looking for some part-time people. And I start tomorrow Then I go to my interview at 3:30, get a job at a retail store, I'll start next week probably Visit my old manager for an hour or so (What a fun girl, I miss seeing her regularly) bike home call my friend whos' back from Harvard, going out for coffee on Sunday Movie date on friday And hanging out with some chick friends at this candle party dealio on Saturday, then going out dancing afterwards Only the date and candle party were arranged before today
That was overly complicated to follow, so I say this: Candle party? Sounds retarded. Congratulations on the new job(s)
candle party probably is retarded, but I don't plan on buying anything it's mostly so I end up at the bar at the same time as my buddies alas, I work the next day so I won't be getting pissass drunk
Ooh a date, that's exciting. What's the guy like? Congratulations on the jobs! Candle party sounds like something that Hyacinth would do on Keeping Up the Appearances.. It's a silly British comedy and if you don't get that in Canada then just nevermind.. :&
Naw, I work one of the retail gigs at 11am the next day. I'll drink, but probably leave the bar an hour or so before closing Kozmic, the guy is sortof... a well dressed nerd with an oddball sense of humour, if that makes any sense. A wanna be player too (well, many funny stories of getting rejected) It's cute
3 jobs the shoe store only has me in one day a week usually, I work sundays tehre primarily The new retail gig only requires three days of availability and the other place says they work around peoples availability as much as they can
