I never thought of that. Okay, I f***in' love them.

But I already used this one--:rage:--up above. You know what that means, right? That's right, that emoji is now going to be banned.

Yeah, but then it'll be this one----next. And after that, this one----because you never know what he's going to do; it's like he's concealing something. And before you know it, NO EMOJIS!

I can't believe you're using the ladder trick again. Unless you think people are clobbering each other with the ladders, the only ways they kill people are if they're defective or people using them are careless. And anyhow, ladders aren't made for the purpose of killing people, and they're generally very useful for other purposes. Now let's see you do your song and dance about how I'm missing the point of your brilliant (faulty) analogy.

That is an interesting statistic. AR-15s are said to be designed to kill, and yet ladders, which are not designed to kill, are involved in more deaths.

March is ladder safety awareness month. The CDC keeps track of all ladder safety statistics.

It doesnt matter its not enforced. It still works anyway in deterring crime.

If you were a rapist or a burglar or whatever, would you rather target a city that has strict restrictions on gun ownership

    Or

Would you rather target a city that has mandatory gun ownership laws even if they werent strictly enforced.

Not too hard to figure out.

LOL – sorry mate but if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck there is no way you are going to convince anyone that it’s a rabbit.

Number of occupational ladder related deaths in US in 2011

    113 (0.09 per 100,000)

Estimated around 300 die from ladder falls each year

Deaths from accidental jury in 2000

Fall on and from ladder or scaffolding – 412 (includes scaffolding)

    Accidental firearm discharge – 776

Number of gun related deaths in US –

    2000 - 28,663

    2005 - 30,694

    2010 - 31,672

    2015 - 36,252

Ok so not all those deaths involved AR15’s but for fuck sake is that how you gun lobbyists think ‘oh what a hoot hahaha more people died from accidentally falling off a ladder –isn’t that funny- than were purposely murdered with an AR15, so that proves that we shouldn’t have gun control’

Can you actually hear yourselves, do you engage your brains before coming out with this shit?

    *

I mean look this ladder crap – that is the gun lobby’s big argument – that’s what they think of as a rational argument – that’s their killer argument, its beyond pathetic.

Balbus said: "Ok so not all those deaths involved AR15’s . . ."

Do tell! And don't stop there. How many of all those thousands of deaths were done with an AR-15?

Also, why aren't you up in arms about the FBI ignoring Nikolas Cruz's statements on social media, like the one in which he said he wants to be a professional school shooter? I think you just find it easier to condemn people with guns than to get out in the street and demand the resignation of the bastards responsible for willfully ignoring the obvious threat that Cruz was.

We seem to forget that an assault weapons ban is not aimed solely at AR 15 style weapons, it encompasses many more weapons than AR 15s.

One of the tips to the FBI was investigated but the identity of Cruz couldn't be determined.
The other one, the "professional shooter" post was reported to the FBI by Ben Bennight.
    YouTube removed the post.
In hindsight the FBI could have done more...but I'm sure they get these tips all the time and have a hard time allocating time and resources to track down every lead. In addition many times they can't legally do anything anyway.

That’s it that’s your ‘rational’ come back….really….as I said pathetic.

All of that has been covered, prudent gun control is not just about AR15’s but why the fuck would any rational person want one, it’s just a dick substitute.

What about all the statement from gun owners saying they will shoot police officers. That they want guns specifically or in part so that they can shoot police officers. Shouldn’t the FBI be doing something about them?

Hogs, apparently. That's been the only answer I've managed to get out of anyone.

Apparently, it's the only rifle that can kill hogs.
