went to car inspection barefoot, got a "nice" comment

I went to have my car inspected. I got out so the guy could drive my car to check brakes, one of the other guys noticed I was barefoot and commented "going barefoot. NICE"

it was about 85°F and sunny.

 

Nicest comment I ever got was on a barefoot hike on a suburban nature trail. A couple walking their dog passed by and the lady said "Barefoot? Oh how fun!". I thought that was a cool and spontaneous thing to say.

 

a lot of times when i'm driving barefoot i'll pull my left foot up onto the seat and rest my arm on my knee. the other day at kfc, the drive through guy told me that it was the coolest driving position he's seen, or something like that. granted, it wasn't specifically about my feet (i'm sure he couldn't even see them), but i also wouldn't put my foot up on the seat like that if i had shoes on so it's still kind of relevant.

 

I always wash my truck barefoot and if my truck needs to have something fixed i take it to the dealer and I'm barefoot when i go there. I get a lot of looks and questions and i answer them and i get great comments. Even the people that work there always say nice thing about my bare feet like they like my toe ring or my anklet. One day i forgot that a friend of mine came over and his daughter was with her and she had some dark blue nail polish. And she ask if she could paint my toes i said yes . And forgot about it so when i .went for my oil changed and tire rotation the people that work there know me and they said nice toes i said thanks but then i remembered one of the lady's said it looks good on me and when i went to Wal-Mart this couple said they like my toe nail polish and it looks good on me and they guy ask where i got and i told them who did it i don't know if they believe me.

 

I wash my vehicle barefoot sometimes. Well if it's not that hot, it's okay not to wear any shoes or slippers. Easier to climb up and down to clean the truck parts if you're barefoot.

 

I'm barefoot 24/7 all year around and that's even driving and walking barefoot in the snow. I don't wash my truck at a car wash i take it through the automatic car wash.. And yes it does make it easier to get up and down and cleaning the truck parts easier. And your bare feet grip to the truck better then wet shoes or boots that slip here and there because they're wet

 

I've got a guy jump starting my truck shortly, I'll see if he says anything about my bare feet.

Nope, but I did get a "that's a nice pool table" remark. Haha.

 

Do you drive barefoot?

 

Yeah sometimes, I don't like wearing sandals or flip flops while driving. I'm not public barefoot person yet but around home yes, so if I'm not getting out of my car then I will go barefoot.

 

Sandals and flip flops are dangerous to wear while driving

 

That's why I don't wear them.

 

I Loved It When About 18 Months Ago......The Leading Road Safety Expert Here In OZ Asked People

Not To Wear Thongs..(flip flops).....Or High Heels Whilst Driving......Bare Foot He Said Was The Way To Go....

It's crazy to even think of driving in heels. I do notice though that I grip the top of the pedals with my toes while barefoot and it can cause soreness. I also seem to do it slightly with the socks but I never notice. I think stockings would feel nice on a warm day cool pedal.

I drove in flip flops before and they broke on me (the stem that goes between the toes). Of all fucuckin times for that to happen, that's the only time it did, while driving in traffic.
