The last time Texas elected a Democratic candidate for governor was 1990. Do you think Wendy Davis will be the first?
I dunno, but the fact that suddenly the GOP needs to defend a once solid Red State is reassuring. I for one will no longer cast a 3rd party "protest" vote in the future, as I've done here in the past when Texas was a foregone conclusion. The problem is GOP men cannot control how their wives votes when that curtain closes behind her in the voting booth.
