I am a depressed 19 year old. Almost 20 in two weeks time. I have read stories about how LSD can open up ones mind and all that stuff and really help people. I am sick of being sad all the time and want to do something with my life and I hope that LSD can help me do that. Should I do it?
If you have a trusted source, then yes. A lot of RCs are being passed around these days as LSD and I wouldn't recommend doing any of them. But don't dive in blindly. Do plenty of research and make sure you have a good set/setting, alon with someone who you trust to help guide you on your journey.
I'm no expert, but I recommend taking just half a tab for your first trip, and make sure you are with someone you trust in a cosy safe place where you are pretty sure you won't be bothered. Some people would just say take shitloads and walk into the forest by yourself. But I think that is an irresponsible thing to say.You should also be aware that you can have "flashbacks",which can trigger an acid trip after considerable time has elapsed after you first dropped the acid...Even months after.I don't know how this works but somehow the LSD remains in your bio-chemistry and can trigger a trip even months after you first dropped. This happened to me once and I had really bad flashback.Never had a bad initial trip though.LSD can cause visuals, but also a feeling of love and amazing interconnectedness with reality. It will certainly change you.Ultimately it is your decision to take it.No one can make that decision for you.
I don't know if you will let out your secrets...I would say maybe not...Your conscious mind is still in control...Not like being drunk...Maybe you will want to open up about things if you are with a friend...But I wouldn't worry too much about revealing the deepest darkest etc.
Why are you depressed? Have you been diagnosed with clinical depression? Are you currently taking any type of medication for the depression? These are questions you need to to address first before taking any psychedelics. After that, LetLovin gave spot on advice.
