    the main section headers are now shown as the first thread in their section (except for the announcement section)

    maybe that has something to do with the double count.....might be counting all the posts in that plus adding the duplicates that are listed below it

    just a guess ..

    Nah. Post #s fixed now! :)

    Because some of the categories also have posts in them like a forum, this system sorted it differently. Otherwise they would only be categories and no threads would show.

    another weird thing i noticed was that on my other computer i still get the maintenance upgrade message....on this computer i always access the site from a notifications link in my shortcuts...the other computer that still gets the maintenance notice uses a hipforums/forums/index link....i had to change it to a simple hipforums.com link to access

    Turn Down The Brightness On Your Screen......It's Perfect Here......A Major

    Improvement On The Previous When We Had White Text On A Pale Background.

    There Were Times I Had To Use A Magnifying Glass To Read It.....:smileycat:

    Why should I have to turn down the brightness for one forum and then turn it back up for the rest of the internet...


    Oh Wait... You do know there is a "rest of the internet" right?

    Your complaint is getting old...do you ever have anything positive to say?
    White like most websites is even brighter.

    Are you seeing halos these days?
    Common complain from ppl getting old...
    perhaps time to check eyesight.

    Or turn the brightness down as suggested. Most sites don't need to be at top default brightness. That makes it easier on the eyes no matter where you browse, unless you're in sunlight.
