    i agree
skip had thought about making me mod, but i think this is a better solution
oh and stinkfoot thnx for all your help and wisdom too
things sure have seemedto smooth out here the last few days
and have gotten back to the old tight freindly community it always was

i woulda also been totaly in suport of mandyland being a mod too, shes very levelheaded (but with her kid im sure she wouldnt want the extra responcibility and time consumming hassles)

all in all i think ozzy was certainly a good choice

good points, but theres a reason for the sanctuary
the christian forum was mostly a few ppl deffending christianity from a ton of ppl making threads to question theyre beliefs.. many very entertaining and enlightening and the christians felt battered and persecuted
for awhile it was healthy discussions, at times humerouse at times directly challenging them to re-examine theyre beliefs more logicly
but some of the christians became abusive (as did some who questioned them) a bunch were banned after repeeated offences
and finaly skip made the sanctuary for them to hide away in
    ofcourse it didnt help
without the persecution they had very lil to talk about so they kept comming out to keep up the heatted debates
i havent looked at it in over a year though so not sure whats going on lately
it was mostly just 1 or 2 who wanted a place to hide though

u could also say that gay lesbian and transgendered could be combined into 1
the gay community (including comming out and confused and bisexual) had always been open to all, as lonmg as it wasjnt hate speach type crap
then lesbian was added which wss only open to females..which i can sorta understand
some of these special forums were created so the ppl there can feel safe secure and not have to deal with attacks (or in the case of lesbians ..guys trying to start threesomes or insisting they just need a magic penis to set em straight)

im off subject lil bit here, and none of its specificly related to the dread forum so shouldnt be here, just trying to address your responce as completely as possible

id add, ive always hoped for a forumn for indiginouse tribal cultures as well. i would love to see the native american and other indiginouse peoples around the world having theyre own forums here
i think it would add alot to the community

Ozzy is a great choice. One of the few voices of reason.

SE I don't care what you say you don't know how to talk to people. There's putting people down and there's giving information. You often put down. Believe what you want to it matters not to me but know that you're a lucky person to actually live this long under the assumption that you know how to talk to people.

I would love to see this forum more well-rounded. The fear mongering needs to be nipped in the bud. Also this forum is run on vBulletin. Has anyone tried to see how the tag function would work out for the forum.

SE is right. You can either enable it so that everyone can tag posts or the author can. You can also set it up so it's automatically tagged based on keywords in the post and/or title.

Here's a screenshot of a website that uses them. If you were to provide a link to the tag function then people could just click on it to use it.

The bolder and bigger a word is the more threads are tagged with that.

yeah but almost everyone has a timeline on here and there are quite a few people. I just think it might be a bit much. I update my timeline a good bit so it would be on the first page anyway.

Well as long as a broad range of dreading methods was represented. The all-natural method seems to be the most elusive and enigmatic and hard to get a clear idea of, and any method that skips wax would be good for people to see.

well how about this, i'll start a methods discussion thread that others can chime in on theyre expertise and ofcourse its all open to debate
and if we get it going good with some decent info, we can sticky it.
then we can start grabbing quoted posts from older threads if need be.
