I nice glass of VS Cognac goes well with a jay. I just wish I was rich enough to do it all the time. Otherwise gin and tonic is pretty refreshing with a smoke, although I find it slightly bitter.

I used to drink alot of Sambuca, but the sweetness got too sickly after awhile...Kind of like Amaretto, but not THAT sickly.

 

ever try "calimocho?" mix a cheap red wine with coca-cola, about half & half of each or maybe 60% wine 40% coke. the smoothness and sugar of the soda makes the wine go down REAL EASY. if you dont really care for wine yet (and I do stress "yet"), this is a perfect way to start liking it.

In Spain, this drink is pretty popular with young people, often used to get drunk before heading out to go bar hopping.

I dont really drink it at all anymore because i like to appreciate a wine by itself. Unless it´s sangría. Mix a couple bottles of decent red and/or white wine with fresh fruit juice and slices of fruit, some sugar, and some white rum. maybe even some squirt/fresca/orange soda.
man... just thinking about it makes me realize how long it´s been since i´ve had sangría. (also wanna add that NOTHING you buy in a store called "sangría" will ever come close to the real shit you make yourself)


as far as smoking and drinking wine, i learned pretty fast to be careful about it. i used to smoke hash joints and drink calimocho with friends. smoking hash gives you a different high than weed; drinking wine gives you a different drunk than beer/liquor. so to do those 2 together will fuck you up in a whole different way.

 

anyone have the white wine "Frutezia. Tropical Blend."? it taste pretty good.. i have a couple bottles of it but dont really like wine that much. never had it with bud though. and it's only 6% alcohol? thats like 2 beers...i would need to chug both of these huge bottles to even feel something.. thats why i dont like wine.

 

6% for wine? Wow, that's low!

Ernest & Julio Gallo White Zinfandel is a lovely wine, and really easy to drink. Plus I think it's 11%? It's quite sweet, but not sickingly.

 

Yeah I like wine, although I know nothing about it.

My parents are both into it so they treat me every once in a while. Although my dad also has a great collection of many types of drinks.
