Only one of my bridesmaids was really around to help me do any of the wedding planning or anything before the week of the wedding because my other two both lived 6 hours away. It was no big deal for me, we didn't do a wedding shower or a bachelorette party, but we did have a girls' afternoon out (just me and the MOH) the day before the wedding. Don't let it stress you out too bad, and use that wingman! Just make sure you and the bride have a clear understanding of what is expected of you and what you can and cannot deliver. If it's anything like my wedding, your friend will just be so glad to have you be part of her wedding, there won't be anything you need to worry about.
