I don't know if people remember this. But when the justice department went after Martha Stewart in 2004 probably because she was a Democrat. That's what I thought. She was a donor. Plus you know, she stayed in the kitchen. But she formed her own corporation too. And people just didn't like her. The DOJ can go after whomever they choose. And it's rare to go after the POTUS's political enemies. Obama is the only one who didn't. It's also not clear what she could have done different. And what they got her on was weird. She got a sweetheart deal. For lying under oath—for pleading not guilty!
