Fucking changing a fucking battery in fucking -10million'C weather.
All we asked the family for was a boost and they fuck it all up thinking that they're 'helping ' us but really just made the day frustrating and fucked up.

Guess we'll just figure out if it's the alternator when the 'new' battery dies. If Murphay's law has anything to say, it'll be right before a work shift.
And by new...they wouldn't let me go buy a new battery with warranty and shit, had to get a autowrekcers battery, which was only half the cost of a new battery and has no warranty.

looked into the school more, i heard basically all good things and it sounds like a pretty decent school. I think eggs right and its cheaper because its a college, but that still kind of confuses me because why do people go to a university if its literally double the price for the same degree?

I think the difference is... if you go to a more expensive university its more about 'networking' and meeting more people that could help you out down the line, and having the advantage of putting a really good school on your resume or whatever, i believe the education is about the same but you get some extra bonuses going to a university? Thats what i'm assuming here... I dunno for sure, but it sounds like that makes sense?

 

The uni degree holds more weight than a college degree for just about any white collared job. College is usually more specific in courses and vocational based learning.
And then there's the academic degree's and the research degreees that aren't available at college like philosophy; med school ; molecular biology lab.

 

Basic answer- Colleges usually only offer undergraduate degrees and are thereby usually smaller. I'm sure there are some large colleges and small universities-but that is generally the difference.

In general yes the education will be the same with the same classes (a Canadian History class will basically be the same at each school)-but a larger school might have more/and varied classes on many subjects, possible access to better experts teaching, more students studying the same thing that you are, and possibly the ability to study more and different subjects.

I would not spend a LOT of money on your education before you really have a better idea of what you are interested in doing. Maybe part time. Get some experience. Take a class or 2. Hang out more with other students.

That is how I see it as well. The university that I attended and worked at is called a university but I think that is because it began in the 1800's and they never changed the name. It is only undergraduate studies and it is a smaller school.

One benefit of a smaller school is that the classes might be smaller and you might get a better chance of knowing the professors and interacting with them. Back in the 70's I attended some classes at Cornell University and some of the classes had 100 or more students in each class. It was easy to get lost in there.

There are bigger differences between colleges and universities here. Most colleges offer diplomas only, universities offer degrees.

our downtown was empty today.....more parking than in the summer....the mall was empty too......I bought joke sandwich baggies for my grandson...each one has a bug in it

I go to subway, put basically everything on the sub, then i get home and smoke a bowl before eating it and then i end up picking all the veggies off the sub lol

Same thing when i order pizza un-stoned... i'll order a pizza with a ton on it, then if i smoke before eating the pizza i end up picking a ton of shit off.. and sometimes i just want the crust and sauce lol...
