Experience is more important. The guy who went to a "lesser" school but has a proven track record gets the job over the fancy school guy with no experience every time. But if you go to some crappy school like for example most any school that advertises it will matter. Maybe you see the ads during the day saying "this school is so easy with so much opportunity hurry up and call this number classes start soon". That's a scam, a good school doesn't have to tell you they exist. And chances are this scam is very expensive for little return on your end. So find someplace with a decent reputation and get some field experience.

This guy had the right idea but did a few things wrong. When asked to step out of the car do so, but put all windows up and lock the car (cops will claim you can not do this, you can). You do have to exit the car but he may refuse to consent. Now the cop will have to obtain a warrant or have a drug dog circle the car which he will probably make false indicate. But take it from me when you refuse they can not always produce a dog despite what they say. It saved my ass. Smell is not evidence that can be brought to court, simply say "I think your mistaken officer". The evidence comes after the search.

About the records you are talking about in that 1st paragraph, they are talking about the jobs you look for. They most probably want you to keep them for 6 yrs in case you are chosen to be audited. So, you want to go to some trouble to at least keep the records of where you're seeking work...they should provide you with a basic form to fill out and tell you how many jobs you need to look for per week. Just a thought - if you kept a record on your computer and (fairly regularly) printed it out - and gave it to your mother to keep for you, that way you'd at least have that record they are talking about.

As far as all the jobs you've had this year, and back to whenever..surely there is some type of system in place where THEY (the gov't and/or EI) actually already have a total list of all the jobs you've worked, as long as they have taken out taxes, or whatever Canada does. When applying for EI the only job that counts, as far as you qualifying, is that last one.

I think what people call the obamaphones are really good to have for those that can't afford anything and are on assistance. Getting assistance qualifies people for those phones and many of them would be unable to afford any type of phone without this. Everybody needs a phone, if for nothing else but to call 911. I look quite forward to being able to get some affordable insurance...I sort of don't care if the deductable is outrageous...at least I'll have that all-important insurance card and the hospitals (and hopefully some doctors) will have to provide care for me without a bunch of lip.

As smart and efficient as you are, I think you'd make a great home-school mother. It sounds like you both have been severely "tested" for the child acting like a normal boy! To hell with that...

(I still have the same tracfone I've had for 4 or 5 yrs...it does everything I need...I can text, call and receive calls.)

 

ortus, it kind of matters. you can learn the same stuff anywhere, but some schools are praised more for certain subjects. if they have a specialty program, it's probably not bad.
As far as cost, I've always turned a blind eye to the yearly cost... all I know is every term costs over 3,000, not including books (or buss pass) and it's considered the cheapest university in the state.
