I finally found a neighbor that was helpful and not sexist.
I asked a few people and got told they didn't know how to give a boost properly.
I would say that I do know to give a boost...but I got tits so I can't possibly actually know anything about cars...let alone something so stupidly simple, everyone should know how to do it.

 

I always forget which terminals to hook up to first... so I keep the little instruction sheet from my jumper cables in the glove box lol.

go to engine on the dead one with black because dead batteries give off hydrogen gas and explode easy

lousy cables need to be on long before trying...good cables can usually start right away

i usually connect the dead car first..then go to the good one...you dont want sparks on the dead one

the last connection is the one that matters because thats the one that will spark

loud farts are mostly air that you sucked in your mouth, that didnt come out as a burp... soft silent farts sneak past the shit to make them stink,, as well certain foods..

I have a pair of really short ones that came with an emergency kit my parents bought for me the first christmas after I bought my car. jumper cables, flare, first aid kid (which is probably all expired by now), a folding shovel, gloves, duct tape, a little multi-tool... lot's of useful stuff. even had a disposable camera to take photos after an accident, which I thought was a pretty good idea (although now I would just use my phone and probably get better photos).

 

mine are 15 foot thick blue...thickest ones they sell....soft rubber instead of the plastic coating....my buddy took mine apart and soldered them 10 times better than the factory....they were just crimped In there

 

got a letter from my buddy today, haven't seen him in forever. the letter was postmarked in oakland, but i have no idea where he is now. he started biking south from the yukon without any firm idea of where he was going to end up. originally it was columbia but i think that it's more open ended now. it's kind of weird, i write him e-mails and he writes me letters so that he doesn't have to spend money to get internet access to write back.
