Guelph would rock.

 

I love it there. My wife did her undergrad in Guelph and we both loved the city. If I end up going back to school for a Masters after this, I think I would go to guelph.

 

frozen shmear of rabbit in the road. not an uncommon sight in my neighborhood, but usually theres a body. a faint trail of red leading from the shmear, up the walkway, and right next to my front door. so ive been collecting rabbit bits this morning. back of the head crushed, found 1 paw, and i believe the tail. various organy bits lying about. tufts of fur too. im just glad its still cold. i really hope the rest of this rabbit is not in my yard thawing. i hope it was a take-out meal. and i really REALLY want a fence. i know it wont stop something that really wants in, but it might make them pick a more easily accessible yard.

i wonder what the critter was that pulled it into my yard though. i keep smelling skunk, so im guessing that.

I have hegehogs live in my garden, thre are lots of low bushes and trees, i dont feed them, but they pay me back eating the slugs and snails, saves me trying to get rid of them, as i cant use pesticides, i dont want them invading my weed patch, its tortoise food...so i notice some slugs, cant find the heghogs? Ive 2 mole dumps! And the dog must have brought a slug in the house...slug snot all over the carpet this morning! Whats going on? So i go looking again, under one bush, is a massive hole, a dead mole...and a not very happy hegehog...must have been sleeping! Nature! Wild in my garden...

 

my property is backed by a small greenbelt walkway/ earth berm. ive heard adult great horned owls, and seen a juvey. the birds that like our yard are doves/pigeons, robins, blue jays, black capped chickadees, and the occasional red-winged black bird. im sure theres more i havent identified. the owls and the chickadees talk back to me. ive seen red tailed hawks around too, i usually hear them before i see them though.

ive seen skunks in the road, so i know they are around. im sure there are foxes, and i have seen a coyote (im 93%confident it was a coyote) so its a fairly "wild" place for a suburb. i found a slug for the first time in my yard 2 weeks ago. good to know ill have to guard against them.

 

Get to college as I have some serious work to take care of today. And librarian comes over says you guys all gotta leave at 11 as we have a meeting we will be back at 1. BULLSHIT.

Annoying. Anyway hope all stoners are doing well.

very few bugs on my property surrounding the house....the chickens wander around all day like little bugslug vacumns.....if one of them finds a grub the others actively attempt to steal it....ive seen one hen grab a grub right from another hens beak and then make a run for it

 

I'm already looking forward to the weekend when I'll only have my two toddlers and one extra, instead of my two plus another two and a baby. Long week!

First exam down, I think I did pretty well. Some of the questions were written in broken-english... I had to read them in the prof's accent for them to make sense lol

 

Ya, just got an email from my American Lit prof, saying "Hahaha04 you are a prolific writer, hope you keep on writing, and thanks for the great final presentation" :afro:

So im guessing i did pretty well with that final. Working on two others, well the work for em now. Fuck i have not enough time.

Also had to take what i BELIEVE to be my last drug test for my pending case, got all the community service hours complete, get results of DT back tomorrow, which im hoping will be good as i have been using the same brand/batch of synthetic urine for all the tests. I even went out bought a thermometer to check temp. Stopped and store, threw it in microwave, read 101.4, thought screw it, check temp again before going into lab location, 94.8. Which meant it was reducing, there was a line when i went in, and same bitch lady was ther, made me empty pockets and said can i take my sweater off. HELL NO. had the container in my waistband. so dropped it in there. pissed all over seat and in toilet to make it seem as though i dropped (and comical measures) then gave to her, she checked temp and something else, and sealed it up. :2thumbsup:
