Washing your hands after countless things is good. It also has a huge effect on everyones lives so we don't pass bacteria regardless. Lots of soaps are filled with things I don't think any of us would want. Dye, artificial scents, and many others I don't trust cause I don't understand the back of this box of soap. It has more ingredients of words you don't read in books. Whats the best of the best healthy for the best price most available to all people to get to help the best way to wash your hands. Same thread question could be asked for toothpaste.
I use alcohol gel. I always have a squeeze tub in my handbag for before eating or like even pressing the amplemännchen I like to clean my hands. =)
I always buy this soap made with glycerin and essential oils, no added dyes or artificial fragrances. Or sometimes I splurge and buy goat's milk soap. i recently noticed most toothpaste contains sodium laurel sulfate, which weirded me out because I haven't used anything containing it on my hair in 5 years. I went through all the "natural" brands at whole foods and couldn't find anything that didn't contain it. I did however pick up trader joe's store brand the other day and all the ingredients were natural. Its super cheap too, just a little over 2 bucks I dont think flouride is bad for your teeth when used topically but I don't really want to put something known for being damaging to hair on my gums.
i usually just cum on my hands and leave it there. it's free, and i don't spread any disease because no one wants to go anywhere near my hands.
I use Kirk's castile soap on my hands, body and even hair. It's an unscented vegetable-based soap made from coconut oil. Tom's of Maine and Jason make decent fluoride-free toothpastes. These days I've been using Pronamel because of some enamel erosion of my teeth, though I used to use the former two.
i use a soap that has caffine in it, is disk shaped, and has a large paw print on one side. i also like those glycerine soaps, partially because of the novelty of their being translucent, and come in pretty colors that you can still see through them, but also, because, they're the one kind that is made without the alkalie, which is that surfactant in traditional soaps. but i like the paw print soaps from contact, because i like to thing they might be supporting what i like to consider the right kind of people. its just a mom and pop kind of opperation, which i always prefer to corporate greed too. in both cases, this is at least partially a mater of persona aesthetics. then also there's these body wash things, and even some dish soaps, all good.
tea tree is suppose to be poisonous to cats and dogs. yet I found a pet shampoo (made in america) full of it. not sure the % but it smells powerful.
I usually use a natural soap from a wholefood type place. I sometimes use anti-bacterial hand gel, but don't like to overuse it. Also carry a bottle of a hand gel you use without water in the car. My hands are clean.
Ivory soap and dish washing liquid on sinks...Expensive soaps saved and used for full baths..... Bonner's castile products are chemical free.....
Soon they will need to come with free glasses cause everyone will forget to clean them! In 15 years the population of the entire world, good chance 89% of people of all ages will wear glasses. Those who don't tried to stay away, They are now singled out for not playing with their screen. Anyways.. I don't own one, I enjoy buttons and keyboards..
I have germophobic tendencies so I can wash my hands dozens of times every day, after going to the bathroom, coughing, touching my hair, handling something dusty, dirty or gross in any way, etc. I use plain old soap tho as it's easier on my skin than those antiseptic rub-on lotions, the alcohol they contain irritate and dehydrate my skin so much it's not even funny.
I've been using Dr.Bronner's liquid soaps for the past year or so. I used it as a shower soap and hand soap. Will continue to buy. I don't think Antibacterial soap is a good idea, necessarily. Seems the most germaphobic people often carry it around, but often get sick anyway.
Indeed. I guess the reason is since they often live in such a sterile environment, their immute system isn't exposed as often to micro-agressions and as a result it becomes lazy/weak.
Antibacterial soaps are terrible because they kill a lot of the good bacteria on your skin along with the bacteria that makes you sick. Besides, you need some exposure to germs to keep your immune system strong. When you're always using antibacterial soaps (which are loaded with synthetic estrogen-mimicking chemicals), you are actually opening yourself up to exactly what you think you're avoiding by using an antibacterial soap.
agree with folks who say Dr. Bronner's. There's different varieties, you can get a bottle on sale for cheap sometimes also agree with trader joe's or tom's of maine toothpaste. only get fluoride free toothpaste if you think the moon landing was faked
