    I used to use a cheap tea tree shampoo, but recently stopped using it as i realised it was unnecessary, my hair never smells and isn't oily by nature. now I'm just using baking soda and water or just water

    I use a tea tree lavender shampoo and add a couple drops of peppermint oil to it to make it smell extra nice. I wash my hair once or twice a week. I will also do a BS/ACV rinse like once a month.

    I changed the way I do my rinse recently but my recipe goes a little like this;

    I get a plastic tub or a basin. Fill it will hot water and add about 1/4 cup to 1 cup of baking soda. Depends on the size of the basin. I kind of just eyeball it now but don't add too much. If you add too much the baking soda won't dissolve all the way. Anyways I added a few drops of essential oils. Whatever you like, tea tree and peppermint are my favorite.

    I used to do the same for the ACV but opted out by putting it in a bottle diluted with water. If you were to do the basin trick with the ACV, put about a capful or two into the water.

    thank u for ur input Flakeofsnow. wut i do is, i use 1 cup of baking soda per 10 cups water, add about 10 drops each of peppermint, tea tree, lavender and rosemary. follow that with an acv rinse like 1 or 2 caps worth per 10 cups water. and i wash once every other week. im just trying to see wut other people do so that i could tweak my recipe and see wut works best.
