Washing machines

    It is ironic that being the dryest continent on earth that most washing machines sold are top loaders. These use far more water and more electricity for that matter than front loaders.Front loaders in my experience are more gentle on your clothes.So maybe the sale of top loading waching machines should be banned?

    my machine cost me 50 dollars off my friend and I have had to spend about 200 dllars on it in the last three years...might have been cheaper if I'd just bought a new one hey!!!

    In terms of environmentalness of machines don't you think that the waterwise rebates are an attempt to get people to do the right thing without forcing hem into it?
