I said why it seemed like a waste of time before. But whenever I say my reasoning all hell breaks loose
I'll take your word for it and we'll agree that I'm a time waster lol. You and Chaos seem like cool peeps, if you didn't live all the way up in Canadia, it'd be cool to hang out.
I believe Pat...after so long, you don't need to wash your hair anymore. MY brutha man hasn't even let water touch his head in almost a year, and he is doin' just fine. Needless to say, when people hear that fact that think of how dirty and nasty that is without recognizing the facts.
It doesn't mean anything to me that people disagree. People disagree with almost everything that I have to say......It is like the natural order of things.
well then. your brother is one of those nasty fools who gives dreadies a bad rep. You have to dust your blinds because they collect dust. And all they do is sit there. People collect dirt very quickly. Any human body part that remains unwashed becomes filthy. So yeah, that IS dirty and nasty. fact.
but people used to wash hair with sand and ashes or whatever.. they're dust as well. hair just cleanse itself after it realizes that it's not being washed with anything. though i do agree, that dreads get dirty and don't clean themselves, cause they're partly dead hair
Sorry, I just don't buy that hair "cleans itself." Sure it produces good oils and sheds and all that, but it need a bit of assistance. Especially if you're growing dreads.
I'm inclined to agree with you Zilla, just from general living hair picks up odours, if you've been cooking, or frying something, smoke regularly, exercise a lot, or whatever. If you don't wash your hair at all it's going to stink in the long run I think. As to whether water is enough to remove those smells (I reckon it is), but I prefer to use baking soda to help move odours.
Yeah this is what I'm thinking too.. hair that has been on your head going everywhere that you do collecting all the dirt that you do every day and never being washed.. that must be grimey.
