Like I said, there would be temporary leaders for hunting and skirmishes, but they were unable to organize well enough for full warfare. Instead of small bands of people for hunting, the tribes grew bigger, developing unique cultures and languages, and some with strong chiefs and basic noblemen needed to lead a people into battle. Ths couldn't have happened in very small groups before.

But you are right, there is evidence that raiding parties would be formed to attack neighboring groups. But there isn't any evidence pointing towards large scale fighting.

The neanderthals were killed off by cro-magnons (there was also interbreeding) which probably happened thousands of years before agriculture arose

certainly, but was it a good one =P
I for one don't think so.

I think we lived in mushroom induced ecstasy, followed by orgies, for thousands of years, with singing dancing poetry painting and occasional hunting and gathering. The earth was our mother. We lived in a balanced symbiosis.

Then all of a sudden we had farms to till for hours on end.
Then we invented Gods of corn and potatoes.
Then we stopped the fertility rituals honoring the goddesses,
Yahweh used to have a wife, believe it or not. Her name was Asherah. King Josiah removed her and her female priests in 621bc
So then there was one male god.
    And now we are here.
A Male-dominated polluted and poisoned world.
No respect for mother nature, or the feminine, or the mystery.

The mushrooms, and cannabis, are pushed away and coffee and alcohol are given to us so that we work hard and then stupefy our selves

Sure, that's because the church has basically censored and mistranslated the Bible and other holy writings so they can have the control. Like you said, it occured before the Christian sect was even around. It's all a mind game, so the church can have all the political power.

Keep in mind, the only people who were literate were clergy members across the Middle Ages, until the invention of Gutenberg's printing press in 1440. Of course, the common people looked up to them because they were supposedly "blessed by God" and "holier than thou," etc. So they had all the influence, and the power to place what they wanted into the Bible, and reword it all so they could build the kind of civilization they wanted.

Now that the individual has access to the Bible, and nowadays, the internet, we have the opportunity to find the truth for ourselves. We have the ability to question and rethink what we've always been taught, and find out what others are thinking. Unfortunately, we have been in the darkness for over 2,000 years, making us slow to think for ourselves. Indeed, the church along with our society (in the US anyway) has shaped us to be lazy. Most people, especially with my generation, would rather put in their ipods and tune out the world than think about controversial issues such as this. :(

    how does this make sense?

1 - development of agriculture is the fall -- garden is whole earth
    2- adam/eve are hunter/gatherers
3- banished from garden [THE WHOLE EARTH] to '''''wilderness''''

if the garden is the whole earth, then wilderness would have to be outer-space ? or what ? u tell me.
