I have done a lot of research on squirting, and am still not sure...
Let me explain. The other morning i was stimulating my girlfriend with my fingers on her g-spot; we have talked about squirting before and she loved the idea so we have been trying, she knows to let it go at that point of no return and hope for the best! ANYWAY, when she had an orgasm, she did produce a considerable amount of fluid and soaked both myself and my bed. we were both really pleased that she had done it and she said that she had never felt anything like it. she also swore that it was not like she had peed, although when she had left i must admit the fluid (which was slowly drying on the bed!) did smell a bit like urine. i wondered if this was normal for anyone else? or did my girlfriend in fact, pee all over me and my bed?? PLEEEZE help!

The fluid that comes out when you squirt comes from your uretha (sp) so its bound to have some urine in it. But it does sound like she squirted, so good job!

    Squirting doesn't exist. It's a myth.

Wow. THAT'S interesting to hear that from a female ...

However I'm going to refute this ... but only slightly: There are two kinds of "squirting."

First, here's the stupid, mythical, pornographic, 13-gallon, soak the walls bullshit you see on pornos; this is called peeing. Any woman can do this - just start relaxing and pushing on your bladder as you fake your orgasm. (OK, I will admit some women do this with real orgasms too, but this is NOT female Ejaculation)

Then there's the fairly-rare, real, female ejaculation - and it does exist; it's not a myth ... but like I said it's rare - and it does not even SLIGHTLY resemble that porn-squirt nonsense. It will look STARTLINGLY similar to male semen!

The reason for that is that Yes, Virginia, females DO have a prostate (or at least an analogous, prostate-like tissue structure referred to as the urethral sponge). Because males and females start out identically in the womb, then start to differentiate, there are MANY analogous structures, like the penis and clitoris, or scrotum and labia. Even males have a useless tag of tissue inside them on the back of their bladder that COULD have become a vagina and uterus.

Anyway, if you see a little "bloop-bloop" come out and it looks like man-cum, it's called FEMALE EJACULATION. If you see the fountains of the Bellagio erupt from her vulva, it's called urination.

that exact thing happens to me, especially when my boyfriend finger fucks me. i tend to soak the bed quite a bit along with his hand. its definitely not pee, but i don't know if itd be categorized as "squirting"

Does it come from your vagina? I've had similar experiences, mainly when I'm licking a girls clit and vaginial fluids come out. Not a lot but it's noticeble.

its only a myth for those who have not experienced it.
It is very much not a myth at all.
Youve gotta try it out some time.

Thing is though (sorry for delayed reply) i read somewhere that when a woman orgasms, the urethra contracts and makes it impossible for her to pee. i dont imagine my girlfriend faked her orgasm (wow, makes me sound quite inadequate!) all joking aside she'd have no reason to. don't know if this is true or not. interesting thought though. any subsequent thoughts very welcome.

Just to bump this thread unintentionally...

I was doing some searching for "squirting" (because I am bored for those who are asking silently) and came across this thread.

Around 1999, I was living with my ex-girlfriend, and we were known to get after it quite often. One evening, before I came home, I stopped by the adult toy store, and picked up a dildo for that evening's encounter; just to spice it up a little. She wanted to try one out in the bedroom, and I decided it wouldn't be a bad idea myself.

That evening, I began to use the dildo on her, and after about 30 minutes or so, I noticed a small amount of what I at first thought was semen leak out of her vagina. I knew that she had been home all day, and that she didn't cheat on me, and I knew that I hadn't had sex with her in a few days, and it really stunned the hell out of me for the longest time before I realized just what it was. In fact, I never, and to this day, haven't said a word to her about it.

Unfortunatly, it was long after we had split, before I realized it, and was unable to take advantage of what had really happened, because I would've tried like hell to get her to do it again!

But, I can attest to the fact that SOME females indeed do ejaculate, and it does look a LOT like semen.

squirting........as so much other stuff about female sexuality, has to be learned.
most women dont/wont/cant accept that they are the victims of their own mis- apprehension. women do and can, learn to ejaculate if they so wish....with the assistance of a masterful lover.

Ok, some input on my part that comes first-hand. Squirting DOES exist as I have been with a few women (4 to be exact) who can and DO squirt. Joey, first off, feel glad that you know as much as you do. I'm sure in your research you have come across clitoris.com and such sights as that which mention and have sections on female ejaculation. If it weren't real, there wouldn't be articles and books on the subject that have become very popular in recent years, especially if you browse into the sexuality section of a Barnes & Noble.
Now to get to your input and question Joey. I myself have found a similar reaction. The sheets sometime smell like urine and have been questioning it myself, as in research, doesn't it claim to be colorless/odorless? The fluid IS different than what others in this thread have been talking about. I have experienced that "semen" color but it doesn't seem to be the same female ejaculate as when a woman squirts. The thicker, "semen" color comes out of the vagina as ejaculate comes from her urethra. The experience is different, and female ejaculation in relation to the word "squirt" means the fluid squirts out, which it does, right Joey? From my experience (as I am experiencing a similar thing currently with a girl now), I feel she IS squirting and some urine might still be in her urethra. It's a tough issue to talk about with your girl because after all the squirting talk, how can you bring up "umm, I'm thinking you MIGHT be peeing a little too." However, if you re open like you seem, encourage her to go to the bathroom first to empty her bladder and then find out. I will do the same. But stop listening to the ignorant people on here saying squirting is a myth. Pick up a damn book and READ. Go to a literature website and READ about it. Fuck, talk to Dr. Ruth about it. It DOES exist, accept it, embrace it, and possibly learn how to do it. Keep us updated man.

    heiadn,
thank you for your well informed research-inspired response! i can't even explain how frustrated i get when men AND women are so mis-informed about the exquisite extacy of female orgasm, especially the squirting variety! as a mostly lesbian sex-loving woman who has had more than 100 female lovers, many of whom were "squirters" (at least while i was with them!), it is NOT a myth!!! nor is it only a few women who can do this. every woman can! but it is scary for a woman at first because it DOES feel like you're about to pee. after experiencing it several times, it's easy to recognize the difference between feeling like you have to pee and knowing that you're gonna squirt. and yes, it is impossible to pee while you're squirting.

HOWEVER, the urine smell/taste can be a result of a little bit of urine left in the urethral canal. even if the bladder is emptied right before the sex encounter. it's like after you cum guys... you still have a cum plug that gets removed when you pee afterwards. same thing with the urine... little bit left in the line, needs to be removed.... best bet, don't suck up the first squirt. after that, you should be safe. if the ejaculate fluid is still bad smelling or tastes bad, it could be related to diet... same as with male ejaculate.

and to the misinformed person who said that female ejaculation does not gush like in the pornos, and just dribbles semen-like goop.... they are WRONG!!! female ejaculate is clear, somewhat more viscous (thick) than urine, less viscous than vaginal lubrication, and does NOT look like male ejaculate. if what you see does look like male ejaculate, it most likely came from the vagina. in addition, it can be quite copious in amount... as in, it can literally soak the bed. to where you need to sleep in another bed. or buy a matress protector. :p

squirting is fun, it's hot, it's totally pleasurable... unless you end up sleeping in the wet spot! lol... seriously, to the op, sounds like she squirted, sounds like you guys are enjoying a new twist in your relationship.... yay for you! keep playing around and having fun, don't listen to every misinformed fuckwad, and most of all, listen to your girlfriend, what she likes, what she doesn't... communicate and fuck like bunnies! happy squirting!
