Was it acid??

who knows, maybe it could have been acid you were taking??
i mean ive had some bitter tasting acid before...

they could have been massive does you were taking, but then again it could have been a DOx compound...

 

I've read stories about massive doses lasting more than 12 hours because the body just can't absorb it all at once...so it's kind of like re-dosing. I'm not sure if it's true. I'd tend to think what you couldn't absorb would be lost rather than saved up until you could absorb it.

I've also had very high doses on blotter, where we would really lose ourselves during the peak. We would be sitting back or lying down and probably couldn't get up or walk around or anything...or maybe the thought just didn't cross our minds. There would be no verbal communication at all during the peaks. Visuals were very strong and CEVs were incredible and could hold our attention for what seemed like hours. Until the albums were done (we didn't have CD shufflers or MP3s then...and it wasn't good to stack more than a couple records), we would be totally immersed in the music at times.

As we came out of the peak, we would start communicating and discussing what we were feeling and had felt, but it would still be very difficult. I remember a few times in particular when we laughed because we were (or it sounded like we were) only able to talk with something like a souther drawl. Visuals were still strong with intense trails even after the peak.

These trips would only last at most 12 hours. They would be life altering, and an afterglow for days. I'd think about what happened it for a long, long time. Me and two tripping partners who did these tests in our late teens are still very close, in a special way. But I think the affect of the drug was gone in 12 hours.

I had someone claim that you can't fit a lot of LSD on a blotter recently at a festival (they were selling gel tabs)....and I just smiled. You can fit a very high does of LSD on even one blotter...I am absolutely sure.

 

It dont matter if it is 500mics or not your not gonna trip longer then 12 or 13 hour range on clean lsd

 

From your description of the effects, duration and bitter taste it was most certainly NOT LSD. It was most likely one of the psychedelic phenethylamine's, DOB, DOC, or DOM.
These all have a long duration, 20+ hours depending on dose. Of those my guess would be that it was DOB, mainly due to the low dosage needed; 2mg can produce strong effects and it often finds it's way onto blotter paper. LSD only has a duration of around 12hours, regardless if it is 100mics or 1000mics, if taken as one dose the duration will still be about the same. Repeated dosing really doesn't do much for prolonging the trip as tolerence to the effects builds rapidly, the second dose if taken at the tale end of a trip will prolong it, but not with the same intensity, and consequent doses even less so. The only thing I ever had that kept me high for that long was PCP,(reflexsively shudders at the memory) never again!
So do your homework and know what your taking, Some of these substances can be VERY BAD if taken with a MAO inhibitor. Research it !
