The whole rig seems to be run by children. Children that crave power over others. It must be. The children/leaders take it by the vote or they'll take it by the gun. Does no one see that the whole of humanity is being held back from progressing beyond the most base of human desires? The world is a very sad place in many respects. Shouldn't the reasons why, be examined and action taken to remediate? Who's in charge? The ones with the shrunken and narrow philosophical vision of how humanity relates to the resources available, the profit gained on the use and sale of them and the worth of their fellow humans. They seem unable to get past the ancient ideologies of kill who you want, as many you want and take what you want, always with the ancient rationalizations.

The whole of modern society is about the taking of resources and the profit to be made from doing so. We've all been convinced that this is right and natural. Those left behind by being unable to compete for the resources are known as lazy, incompetant slugs that just don't have the "right stuff." "They" killed a bunch so we need to kill a bunch. Same old way of thinking. Apparently as long as there are resources/items available to control and sell for profit---war will continue.

Do you remember the 'pork chop' platoon? If so then you might remember what they went through.
150 miles is nothing to them/you, Is it not?
I was put in the group because of my actions. Half the food, Double the rest. I got a chance to try the 'crucible', But not the 36 hour straight one.

Like I said, Believe what you want, Its not like im trying to glorify something im not or was not. I did not graduate, So no, Im not technically a 'Marine'. But I tried and did what I could while I was able to do so. IMO its an honor to be able to serve the corps and I failed.

    You're lying.

Ya see, the thing is, I went through Marine Corps basic training in 2000. In post #158 you said you got hurt during basic training, at Camp Pendleton. Which is fine; part of Marine Corps basic training does take place there. Then I asked you where on Camp Pendleton and when did this take place. Now you say you got hurt on 29 Palms, which is a Marine base located roughly 150 miles from Camp Pandleton and that isn't utilized by the Marine Corps for basic training at all.

You don't get sent to the Physical Conditioning Platoon (PCP) for "actions" (ie laughing during punishment, etc....). You get sent there because you're a fat body. They do not pull humps to 29 Palms. They aren't based at Camp Pendleton either. Instead they are at MCRD San Diego.

Furthermore, the Crucible isn't a 36 hour event. It is a 54 hour event.

You're right, you're not a Marine and you certainly never attended Marine Corps basic training. Instead you come here and lie about it. What's more pathetic is that you don't even both doing your homework to make the lie semi-believable.

Actually Iran has vowed to protect Syria, and said they will strike Israel. Russia has said if Syria is attack they'll attack Saudi Arabia (big oil trader with the US) This is alot of peoples red line, believe it or not. I actually don't care, I believe Iran will bomb Israel in the event of Syrian attack. However, I don't personally care cause I'm not an Israeli/American Exceptionalist. They, and the UN are bullies!

You can gossip about war or gossip about hair appointments, (not pointing fingers,) but the only remedy to war is to share our thoughts and the things dear to us.

I don't care if Israel gets attacked either. BUT the you can bet the U.S. isn't gonna sit back and do nothing if Israel does get attacked. (remember we are The United States of Israel, right?)

It is that you failed to complete basic training, it is that you're lying about even going.

It would be him as he completed and was able to serve under the title. I don't dispute that a bit. Hell a person who passed the coast guard is better than me in that respect.

yeah, but Iran can take out every one of our bases in those regions causing billions of dollars in damage within 5 minutes. AND attack vital points in Israel all at once.

I don't believe that for a second. They're bluffing, both of them. Could you point out where Russia said they would attack Saudi Arabia if Syria is attacked? Neither Russia or Iran is gonna get involved in a war they know they can't win for a country they know can't save, period. They are many things but they aren't stupid.

No, they can't. You're sold on their bullshit military capabilities. Then again, you are a willing dupe in this case.

They can cause alot of damage. A modern war between 2 Nuclear states is not pretty. Iran has Ninjas, drones and, an advance military and Russia has Nukes and bolistic missiles. I think you're under estimating what type of toll that would take on the US
