I wanting to cut my hair cause it's getting long but not lose the dreads (7months) i would like to keep some maybe a patch or a few strands. What are you thoughts of keeping some? I've braided a strand of hair which I'm planning to keep as my own style just behind my ear but would like to also have dreads. keep a dread fringe? or a few rat tail dreadies? or maybe just cut the dread shorter? i dont know..
I think it would look pretty cool to cut off your hair and just have a few on top of your head in the centre like a centre parting.If you know what I mean.Well thats just my personal opinion. I like random and unique
Don't go down the dread fringe look. It makes wearers look like them dreadlocked dogs. Any of the other hairstyles would be awesome looking
Haha I just visualised that image...those dogs look funny.I have never seen a dreadlocked fringe 'only' before though.
im a bit of an athlete so the dreads were dragging me down with weight and wind restrictions but i ended up cutting it.. to be honest feel good running my hands threw my hair. i kept 3 dreads at the back top.. as rat tails.. probably best ones of the lot and a another braided rat tail as mention in first post.
