Looking for an old canvas camping tent. Not one of those outfitters tents way to much money but you know regular old style canvas tent. I hate them new ones, they suck.

I have one of the 7' wedges and, although it isn't stylish, it handles all kinds of bad weather, no sweat. You can make the poles from one long 2x4 and a couple of short 2x2's, you can use 2 spike-sized nails to connect them and to peg the tent in all but awful weather. If you want a bigger one, go to the want ads at www.armourarchive.org . It's mostly reenactors there and they're always trying to trade up to a bigger and more historic model. I've seen some real buys there.
