hey do any of you have an old vw bus that you're looking to sell? i'm in california- fairly close to san francisco, and i am seriously looking for one to buy. i don't care how many miles are on it as long as: *it runs reliably. if a part or three needs fixing, but it still works great, i shall certainly consider it. *it's in fairly good shape. if it's been the victim of a horrible accident or something, i'm not interested. minor dents are ok. i have 1250$ to spend, so if any of you want to part with an old bus and want it to go to a good home, email me and we can talk. (builtLordtough@aol.com) thank you!
ebay? there was one for sell here in town.. but i don't see it about anymore.. if i find any i'll let you know
thanks for support i have found a '71 westfalia camper for 1000 here, but i'm not 100% sure that it's what i want. i was kind of hoping for the classic front of the vw bus, with the big logo and all- but beggars can't be choosers! i guess i'll wait a week and decide. anyone have a reason that a 60's model of bus would be better than a 70's model? thanks
all i can tell you is the aircooled engines are the cheapest engine in the entired world auto industry to rebuilt. if you can rebuilt simple type motorcycle engine you can rebuilt a VW aircooled engine. prob around $600.00 or less.
1971 is a good year all around, And the 1600's they came with are really cheap to rebuild. www.thesamba.com has lots of vw stuff and people I'm mistabanker on there website. Check em out if your goin to own a vw... Theres pictures on here of my 76 its a 2000cc fuelly Next bus i buy wont be a fuel injection though...

any of you guys know where i could find a vw camper in ireland? obviously like everyone else i would be most interested in the classic 60s design, but if anyone can help me out in anyway id really appreciate it. Thanks a million peace and love
Is that a joke? Cuz i have seen plenty around here in my time, just they usually pace from private owner to private owner from what i know. Hard to find.
