Advertizing people seem to realize that bare feet and cars can go together - as this commercial currently running on German TV shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xfmTYnqezg"]mobile.de TV Werbung 2012 - Welcher ist dein Nächster? - YouTube The German text in the beginning translates as "do you remember all the cars you wanted to have? And? Did you get them?" The commercial is for an online car sales platform and features bare feet quite prominently, too. Wiggling bare toes (but not owning a car), ~*Ganesha*~
I did get to sit in a Porsche 911 similar to the one shown at 0:20. Many newer cars that lean towards the sportier side are coming with aluminum pedal pads with little rubber grip "dots" on them. Those feel especially nice under bare feet.
Didn't intentionally mean to get my foot in this pic, but you can see it under the Porsche's steering wheel. Unfortunately it was a sucky automatic, so no clutch pedal to press: And in this pic of the STi's arse end, you can make out my bare feet in the bumper reflection:
