Barefoot waterskiing. And in the nude too. :) Skimming along the water totally bare would be great.

I've heard many accounts of people waterskiing nude with skis and people waterskiing barefoot with clothes on. But never both.

Interesting question! Most of the time when I wanna do something barefoot, I just do... however I have one I'm kinda thinking about... firewalking. On one hand I wanna try it, on the other hand I'm a bit scared, afraid I'll mess up my soles (after all, I got a pretty good layer of callouses and I need those to walk everywhere without having to constantly watch the ground in front of me -if I were to burn my feet I'd have to start over as a 'tenderfoot' building it back up, not to mention the burn itself).

Someone else here firewalked and they did it with no training. The temperature has to be low enough that you don't injure your feet. Orange hot coals are a big difference than red-hot ones.

I think that was me. I firewalk whenever I'm at a bonfire and don't get burned. I recommend walking briskly across the coals- don't ever stop on the coals. Also, be careful that all the wood in the fire pit has burned to coals, that there is no glass or other trash in there, and that the wood is natural and doesn't have nails in it. Following these directions you should be fine. The coals form a layer of ash when you step on them, and the ash insulates your feet from the heat. Once, however, I stood for too long on the coals and got a couple of small scorch marks on my tough leathery soles. Those areas later peeled slightly but it was only the top layer- no big deal since I still had like a quarter inch left of skin beneath that.

Once you've gone and skydived barefoot, doing anything else that way can seem kind of anti-climactic. :p

I can't think of a freer place to be, or a freer way to be there, than barefoot streaking through the big empty sky!

the first and only time I went to Disney World it was pouring down and I left my flops in a bag I carried. I didn't get any looks or words going from place to place.

Hmmm... Go to the White House barefoot. That'd be ridiculous! Disneyland I've done totally barefoot, but you do still have to walk in to the gate with shoes. They do have a restaurant and bar at the Disneyland Hotel called the Lost Bar: it is an open, walk, up style bar with some tables inside, live band, and food. You totally can relax, drink, eat, listen to the band, and be there totally barefoot with no shoes nearby at all. It's fun.

Six Flags Magic Mountain north of Los Angeles is almost as cool - you do need shoes to walk in, but since so many rides have your legs dangling, they FORCE you to remove your shoes. I go with my friends, and shove my flip-flops in a bag and go barefoot the rest of the day, since now 90% of the rides I couldn't wear shoes anyway, so I stick my shoes in a locker and enjoy the day! Funny thing - you can go barefoot on the roller coaster rides, but in the log ride, they get mad at you for removing your shoes, even though you are drenched! Must be a slip and fall thing.
