I doubt it, unless she/they touched the exact area that it was at and there would have to be a good amount present.

SWIM (yeah right ) has handled lots of liquid LSD in the past. It actually takes a fair amount to dose someone through the skin, more than oral ingestion. Somebody would have had to dump a vial of liquid on it.
Not saying it isn't possible, just not very plausible.

I also have doubts that ergot infected grain if fed to the cows would actually end up in the muscle tissue in concentrations great enough to elicit any appreciable effects. But ergot alkaloids can and do survive the heat of baking bread in concentrations enough to cause hallucinations and other effects, most of which are not so much fun, so it's not outside the realm of possibilty.

IMHO it sounds like a load of crap and most likely some scam to get $$$$.

My theory: mom and/or dad dosed the whole family and made up the story about it being on the meat (knowing no one could prove or disprove it) for publicity/to get famous.

 

I am still scratching my head as to why someone would lace the meat for some unknown customer when they could have instead had a really nice walk with the little lady.

Seriously, something seems rather off with the whole story.

 

I'm thinking it was put in after cooking. Why, considering the pregnant woman and kids involved, I just don't know. But as far as I know LSD would be broken down by the cooking process.

I kinda thought the same thing. Who the hell would waste good LSD like that. Although I did have a friend in high school that dosed his teacher's coffee in class. The teacher went home early that day.

 

Hoax is where I am too because nothing else adds up....including any side effects of ergotism even if they weren't as bad as above. They do'od it...what for?

I agree with the member who asked how could LSD be detected in the subjects
we were taught by leary that LSD leaves the body without a trace in an hour or less.

generally after first urination no LSD remains
and even then it is broken down before reaching the bladder

it simply triggers a serotonin reaction in the brain
the drug is not in the body when symptoms begin
so what test could conclude anyone took LSD ?

 

Back when i first tried it someone told me the only way to tell is from a spinal tap.dosnt matter if its true or not nobody is going to get one to prove they were on LSD.

 

I don't think Leary was correct about that, but the tiny amount that would be in the body after a normal dose, say 250 mics would probably require gas chromotography/ mass spectrometry to detect with any accuracy.
