Walmart now selling LSD laced meat.

The profits are made on money that is already issued by treasury and spent by consumers.

The government is not printing off money so that private companies can give better wages.

Wallstreet is a totally different scenario again. You keep putting them together as if there are one economic factor and they are not.

I do agree that you can not keep issuing currency if you do not hold reserves that are adequate but that has nothing to do with the profits held by individual companies.

Adequate reserves? Try NO reserves. The money is merely printed from nothing and has no backing. This is not news.

 

The value of the dollar drops, yes. But that also means the value (cost) of goods should drop.

if people were actually paid what their work was worth, no ceo would be paid more then 10 times as much as their lowest paid functuary. every engineer would be paid 100 times as much and every scientist, 200 thimes as much. as any ceo. not the other way around.

 

Damn i just read through 13 pages to say to the person that said "LSD wont work if you cook it" it dosnt matter if its cooked or not. You still touch the meat before you cook it. And LSD can go through the skin so it is quite possible to trip even if it can be cooked clean.
now while that makes sense for the parents. I still think its strange the kid was effected.

I guess its nice living in an area with lots of choices. I used to love shopping at price club. Now there is nothing around but walmart food lion and roses. Plus a few smaller chains and specialized mom and pops.
I really hate sticking up for walmart but all this talk about minimum wage forced me to.
walmart pays better than most of the places around here. Definately more than the other grocery stores. The department manager to the grocery store in my small town makes less than a stock boy at the closest walmart. Yes there is no benefits but i guess we will take care of all of them when they get obamacare. Well the managers at the local get medical but none of the workers do. Anything i can get online i do. I would rather buy from amazon over walmart anyway but the fact that the prices are cheaper is a huge bonus. And i can BS and say im saving the enviroment by not driving two hours to go to the closest mall. Plus why would i want to give those oil companies that extra money...they are worse than walmart when it comes to corporate greed. But honestly its the cheapest way to get music,games, elctronics and accesories, and beer making supplies. If there was any mom and pops that sold that stuff here i would definatly visit them sometimes cant say how ofton. I guess it would depend on how much i liked the mom and pop that owned the place.
also to AT i dont think Nox was mad at your comment about the bathrooms i think it was the fact that people were ragging on walmart for killing mom and pops but nobody commented on his point that online stores did it just as much. Instead the subject got changed to bathrooms when he made his best argument for not hating on walmart.

 

Oh, it's ok to hate on walmart...glad to hear all the individual testimonies and at least some people won't miss trading standards and fiscal consciousness for personal consuming convenience.
The root of convenientia is "conformity". See how easy it is with some people?

 

if mom and pop were special enough. they could of joined the league of online stores. the only mom and pop store I miss , was a hardware store.
