An ancient Connecticut history sign (reverse side) in Berlin. The skies opened up imediately after I took it.
Apparently Berlin hasn't changed much since I was last there in 1971. I lived in Falls Village back in the '60s...on the Great Falls of the Housatonic River... we could walk to the falls from the house.
Well it's an oldie but a goodie God damn......all I can say....... by Running Horse posted Jul 20, 2018 at 9:17 PM
Yes, but Salisbury and Falls Village is a long ways away from Berlin and it's village of Kensington. I'm from next door in New Britain originally. I'm usually by the train station in town. The retail of the Berlin Turnpike is to the east. Quite the change once you reach the Newington town line.
Thanks your guess is close since this is near the California border in Klamath County Oregon. I camp out there a few times a year
A cicada discards the exuvia and waits for its wings to stiffen up. I think the not so little bugger had plenty of time to seek shelter and avoid being the breakfast of a magpie. Cicada molting by jagerhans posted Jul 6, 2020 at 3:17 AM
In the woods nearby this old dude lives carving limestone blocks he personally cuts away from the sides of the hills and hauls to his dwelling. Franco Ingargiola is an accomplished professional sculptor. He told me he sold his last works at Sotheby's. "The universal warrior" (F.Ingargiola) by jagerhans posted Jul 6, 2020 at 3:46 AM
Lucca Comics & Games: At the zombie pavilion, professional makeup artist and world champion of body painting Fiorella Scatena* is ready to unleash one more zombie among the crowd. They mindlessly pestered us to no end because zombie cosplayers are zombie cosplayers for good reasons. p.s. fake boobs. entirely phoney, I'm not talking about breast implants... *Scatena in italian means "unleash".
